Wow. What a great day we all had in Venice yesterday. Despite the rain, we enjoyed the town very much. The view from the tower in St Marks square over the islands was breathtaking. The streets in Venice are very narrow and it was very easy to get lost. Our visit to Murano island was very interesting. We watched a glass blowing demonstration before wanding through the many shops.
Today we are on the train to Paris. It will be a long trip via Milan arriving in Paris at about 11.30pm. We will tell you all our train stories after our arrival there.
